Everything looks great. The special sprites have a certain charm to them. I dunno if it's possible (or you'd want to even do it) but having them all be XY sprites would give it all kind of a streamlined look. That's just me though.
Other than that, everything seems to be working just fine.
If I had to nitpick, I don't think tapping the Pokemon should "select" them with blue. It gives the impression that tapping them will do something else
