>>36320639You know what I mean. Téa, Joey, Tristan, Duke, Seto, Mokuba, Serenity, Mai, and Solomon all have natural hair colors. Pegasus, Bakura, and Marik had unnatural silver or blonde hair but it still worked. Most of the side characters had natural colors too, save for a couple side characters I can faintly remember.
GX had a few more blues and greens but still mostly natural colors with your typical crazy styles. 5D's was when they started getting even more experimental and Zexal they just went full retard and have stayed at full retard for a while now.
Maybe I'm wrong but as someone who's read a few books on character design I believe that characters with natural hair colors might be more relatable to the audience than characters with really vibrant hair. It's easier to project oneself onto a character that looks more plain.
