Things have been going fairly well for me honestly, so the only thing weighing on my mind is a difficulty in my hobby. I'm outlining a story for a webcomic I will write but I'm kind of confused on how to add gradual character development in a long series and still have it feel earned and the key conflict feel active.
Even after going through other long running series like various shonen and seinen manga, various forms of western literature, and currently the book journey to the west I'm still baffled.
