Karenfags aren't really the problem, asshole trainers are
my friends and I battle all the time, and we've never used smogon rules
we use pokemon that we like regardless of what tier they are
that's all a karenfag is
BUT we also know not to spam double team or minimize, or sleeping moves and anything else equally annoying
just because you don't use smogon rules and clauses doesn't mean you have to be a fag
