Meanwhile Leafs figure, second hand can sell for around 10k yen, barely a 10 dollar markup from original retail. Sometimes they'll sell for even less than original. Simple economic concept of supply and demand. There is 0 demand for Leaf merchandise, that anyone who wants to sell one isn't going to have buyers, or they'll have to sell it at a loss.
By these simple metrics you can come to the conclusion that Leaf is not popular and that if anything, people want to get rid of her.
