More numbers, only because I found an interesting comparison to make this time. Previously, May's eighth Contest was the Hoenn Grand Festival starting 122 episodes in, while Dawn's was 121 episodes in. Now, they're respective ninth Contests are still one apart at Dawn - 144 and May - 145 (May's ninth was her first Kanto Contest). It definitely felt like it'd been a while since Dawn's previous Contest, but this confirms it, since in AG, they had the Hoenn League and a pretty sizable chunk of BF to get through. They also both caught a fifth Pokemon in the interim, and both of them got one of the starters from the remake game they were shilling. May got Squirtle 134 episodes in, and Dawn got Cyndaquil at episode 141.
