You return Luchy to his pokeball and give him the break that he so rightfully deserves. Poor guy's carried you this far, having defeated Clawncho and buttered Boo Boo Keys to the brink for your final Pokemon, there's nothing more he can do but rest now. To think he used to be your pet, a mere house bird you grew up with, now he's one of your strongest teammates.
Time really does fly.
With Luchy gone, you take out your final Pokemon, the one with *him* in it. Wikstrom gazes at you curiously, wondering what your next move will be, "Hmmm. It would seem as if you have one Pokemon remaining, but the look on your face does not convey confidence. Do you not believe in him to win this battle for you?"
