I'd honestly be fine with them cutting the dex if they would at least give us a ton of new pokemon because they're the main reason why keep buying these games. I try to make as many teams with only new pokemon as possible when I play a new gen and I don't like using old pokemon if I don't have to. I've been playing for 20 years, I've played with all my favorites many, many times. That's why it pisses me off so much that they keep giving such shitty amounts of new pokemon lately. I don't care one single fucking bit that there's 450 pokemon available in XY. Why are there only 72 new guys? Why are there more Kanto pokemon in this region than actual Kalos pokemon? That shit is stupid to me.
I would've been fine if they kept doing it the gen 5 way where the first 2 versions introduce a bunch of new pokemon then the sequels/3rd versions/ultra whatevers re-introduce a bunch of old mons. It would have been better than what we have now where we get low amounts of new pokemon, the regional dex is full of randoms and shillmons, the national dex is deleted, and nobody fucking wins.
