>>37431320I get it in a way. Whenever i see an overworld map from gen 2 i get all warm inside and go "maaan this look cool!" I guess one of the main factors is color. Gen 1 little to no colors, come Gen 2 and suddenly everything looks so alive and out there not to mention Gen 2's great art direction also helped. Even tho they used limited colors they used the RIGHT colors and made everything look great.
