Her existence makes me wonder why they didn't use Penny instead, considering that she has absolutely nothing to do in the show, and barely appears despite being a major character in Gen 9. It highlights how weirdly obsessed the creators are with shoving OCs down your throat when they have a perfectly usable in-game cast. Any other studio would instead take the opportunity to make Penny the main character and flesh out her identity and actually shill the fucking game.
