Showdown PvP is superior to Nintendo PvP in every way, and it's embarrassing that Nintendo still hasn't implemented basic features like displaying stat changes, tracking turns for field conditions, and being able to spectate games. Pokemon is the most valuable IP in the world, and its esport is a dogshit pay-to-win mess whose world championship tournament can be interrupted by someone's mom trying to plug in her phone. It is morally correct to bypass the artificial hurdles placed in front of you by developers who are trying to waste your time.
