Haven't played the Wiiware titles in forever, but I'm pretty sure you have to toggle an IQ skill if you want to prevent your Pokemon from evolving, or the other way around.
Storage size increases if you link the other games onto one save. Having all 3 gives you a storage size of 1000 items, like with Sky's Master Rank.
Enemies evolve if they defeat one of your allies, like with Gates and Super.
I stopped playing after the third dungeon in Light, so don't expect anything too useful from me. Might get back to playing all three of them.
