I own most of the mainline and spin off games but that’s because i got them when they came out, if a zoomer wanted to play older pokemon games they have no other option but to pirate shit, pokemon games aren’t even rare there’s millions out there but western culture is shit and full of consumers it prevents them from being cheap like the japanese versions of the same games so for a person that doesn’t have any game right now you are looking at

>gen 3 and 4: market is full of bootleg carts and original loose carts soul silver heart gold and platinum are some of the most expensive ds games out there complete in box
>gen 5: they used to be cheaper but now that every youtube retard praises gen 5 as the best shit ever the prices keep going up
>gen 6 and 7: these ones are still cheap but with eshop being dead give it 5 years and they’ll probably double in price
