By definition, that's what a comparison is, when you put two different things against eachother. My argument is that even though both are one thing that looks like something else, Vanilluxe only looks like one thing, whereas Swirlix looks like both things it's supposed to look like. That has CONSISTENTLY been the entire basis of my argument regarding Swirlix getting a pass and Vanilluxe not. You can see it in my first post where I acknowledge it's an icicle, but to me, personally, on an aesthetic level, I can only see an ice cream. Whereas I acknowledge I can see a dog with Swirlix that also looks like cotton candy.
If you don't share that opinion, then that's fine, but my argument was never that the two pokemon diverge conceptually, but merely on a quality-of-design level that there's a vast different between what they achieve, even though they both are going for the same objectives, bro.
