Now, as for my run, I've been punished for my hubris. I was hoping that Joker, the Mightyena, would be able to retire in peace; instead, Norman's goons brutally murdered him, along with Hula & Savannah. I had to grind up a lot of Pokemon to replace those three slots, bringing in Birmingham the Koffing, Tigerseye the Sableye, and Wiggly the Lileep. Tigerseye was my plan for his Slaking, using Detect to stall out Slaking's Truant turns. It worked, but not long enough to fully chip it down, so I had to pivot around a bunch to finish it off. My team had taken a bit too much damage by the team Norman's Linoone rounded out his team, and he managed to take out Birmingham with a Belly Drum boosted Facade. My team going forward will likely be Marshtomp, Loudred, Numel, and Lileep, and I'll be spending my new locations available via Surf to round out those last two slots.
