Paraphrasing a lot because this must've been a decade or so ago but god, was that surreal to witness. Overall, this concept is so weird and honestly kinda insulting. If someone came up to me IRL and claimed they "are" a character I came up with and designed using concepts that I like or - god forbid - have personal meaning to me, I'd at least think about spitting at them for the audacity.
