People always complain about things that barely matter like the bugs but I'd say the distribution of water pokes is the biggest design flaw these games have. You can only get squirtle, magikarp, and vaporeon (which is hidden) for most of the game and then all of a sudden you're given super rod, good rod, surf, and a free lapras that makes them all feel like a waste of time. How many people actually bother to use a psyduck or goldeen at that point?
