I seriously find it funny how people like you need every small detail of a game to be as perfect as possible, otherwise it is grounds for complaining like you are entitled to anything.
And no, ORAS hasn't gone completely backward. They are improving the visuals in a lot of other aspects. Making other things more blocky is the least of my concerns, because again, this is a fucking videogame. I'm not looking forward to looking at the pretty landscapes in as little blockiness as possible. I'm looking forward for the game itself to be fun.
