>>12026800Say something like an ordinary girl suddenly driven by a "divine" voice, to fearlessly lead a campaign against invading forces. If this were put into Pokemon terms, say she'd have an encounter with a Legendary that requests her aid in stopping the region's villainous team (who may have a goal of actual "conquest" or claiming of some magical macguffin that would allow them a shot at such a thing), maybe gathering useful allies along the way (Ash, for all his fuckups in leagues and such, would certainly qualify; guy's saved the world a number of times over, and a good chunk of Legendaries probably owe him). This would most certainly never happen, because as interesting as a new companion whose goal isn't tied to leagues or contests or any such thing and instead linked directly to stopping the villainous team would be, I sincerely doubt the writers could accomplish such a feat alongside the usual use of the anime as one big advertising campaign.
Plus, if this were the case, you'd have all those people betting on/not shutting up about if she'd live through the end of the series like it was the next "Shadow Triad = Striaton Trio" or Hoenn confirmed.
