Here's a better concept with a name that sounds good too:
Biomantis = Biollante + Mantis
A lot of praying mantises camouflage as flowers to capture their preys better. That creates a link between mantises and Biollante's rose form. Furthermore, a mantis could easily be considered a monster if it was as big as an elephant. You see? THIS could possibly be a good design. Now, what you're trying to do is to slap a kaiju on an elephant because we haven't found any great design for it yet, and this is really lazy.
Biophante is a bad concept, get over it
