I always kind of felt game!Bea was overrated for how popular she is, but I would definitely eat trash for anime!Bea.
I'm assuming the major storyline for this part of the WCS is Ash training his Riolu to actually eek out a win against Bea. Chances are it'll involve evolving Riolu into Lucario. I had to look up who her ace was, because I didn't think it was Grappleoct, and it turns out it was G-Max Machamp. Should've remembered that from Twilight Wings. So in that case, Lucario will probably also have to use Mega Evolution to beat Bea, and I'm guessing Farfetch'd will evolve into Sirfetched to beat Hawlucha.
Now if I were a less well-adjusted person (relatively speaking), I might start whining about the fact that I know what's going to happen. Even if I'm wrong, the "mystery" is so obvious, and there's no reason to watch Journeys anymore. Certainly not Goh and his goal to catch Mew, or Koharu and her gradual warming up to Ash and Pokemon more generally, or the other possibilities that open up because of the format of the show. If it's not like Bluey or whatever other children's show I'm watching, then I might as well dissociate from reality and pretend that everything is garbage. Well, that's what I'd do if I weren't a relatively well-adjusted person, anyway. I'm a bit salty for catching a stray vacation from what I assume was responding to our good friend. I should've used better judgment, but fuck him anyway.
