Like it is mindblowing that some of her stuff is based of such an old movie.
It fits well with the whole space and time theme of diamond and pearls legendaries. She got modern but also things of the past to wear.
To be honest the whole episode is kind of based on the movie. Princess wants to have some time of her stressful princess live and hides her identity to do so. She wants to have a normal life without royal duties for a day.
Like this literally made me like Diamond and Pearl even more.
