10: Despite being the “Gratitude Pokemon”, the Shaymin in the movie is a PRICK. He’s a smug, ungrateful little shit who constantly demands good treatment and talks down to anyone who tries to argue.
11: The above is supposed to be “endearing” and when Ash has enough of his shit everyone acts like it’s unjustified because ‘he’s just so cute look at the money he’s printing aaaawwww’.
12: His VOICE.
13: The fact he upstaged Giratina IN HIS OWN FUCKING MOVIE to the point the latter is in it for around only 23 minutes of screentime, most of which is the climax and the last third.
14: He’s given this tearful farewell despite never maturing or growing as a character, and as a result it feels really forced and unjustified.
15: A majority of his fans tend to deflect his faults or reasons for hate with “aw but he’s just so damn cute isn’t he lookatdatwiddlefaceaaaaa”. Don’t tell me they don’t, two of you guys just pulled the same argument on me in the chat.
