>>49507171>that only served to be the opening to let the fujoshi come in and go wild with headcanons. It's absolutely fascinating as someone who's watched it happen since way back when BW was new.Yeah, it was really something. I didn't get to /vp/ until bw2 ut i think i remember those threads being a thing.
>Anyways, it really is peculiar that they're implying that Ingo and the player are pivotal to the existence of the concept of Pokemon Trainers, and forging bonds with Pokemon as a whole. Personally I don't believe it really is the 'past' or rather not the past of the normal timeline at all. There's too many fishy things that don't add up. The 'ancestor' that looks like Claire's house is a good example. Her closet states "There are strange clothes and a cape". Strange for clothes like Claire's to be in the time period, right? Bandit Candice's coat is a battered up version of Candice's coat even including the ice symbol...to me I wouldn't be surprised if a good chunk of these characters were actually the modern characters but were pulled at different time frames in their lives and had lost their memories or had them rewritten. If the canon pokemon multiverse is anything to go by it's very possible that in a different timeline the character could have been born male or female as well. Not saying everyone would be pulled to this world because it is the past just a changed world.
