But I always made OCs, so I've always had a strong preference for making my own character and tailoring them to be the ideal partner for my husbandos. The main thing that changed was that it stopped being seen as a mega-cringe unforgivable sin so I do it more freely now, even if I don't post the content I make anywhere because I do it entirely for myself. I'm still glad to see the taboo is more or less dead, but I digress.
