>>18684890Yeah, I'm not even ashamed to admit it. Things like what is being said in this thread really make me think about life and what we all really want it to be.
And the harsh realization that it will never come close. I will admit, I like to poke fun at people, especially people too caught up in fictional stuff, but I will never laugh at someone wishing to live in a fictional world. (unless it's someone who like is literlally in love with a character and wants to go to the world and make out with them or something) It's usually a lot more than that. I've felt it many times before, and it always ends up with me just feeling so depressed and thinking about the society we've created. I would do almost anything to have it be like the Pokeverse or some other amazing world, but it's truth vs ideals, man. The truth is so blatantly obvious and will always be the same yet it still hurts to think about how it will never be anywhere close to how I'd like it to be. I don't care about how dumb that sounds, it's just how it is.
