Overall, RenPlat is probably my least favorite of Drayano's hacks. He goes way too overboard with the type changes, which didn't fuck me over too bad but it really just isn't my taste. Additionally, some of the story changes were cool, mostly anything to do with Team Galactic, but forcing you to go through Wayward Cave, the optional part of Victory Road, and Iron Island was just silly. I'm probably never going to nuzlocke this one ever again as all the extra battles were exhausting.
Probably gonna do Sacred Gold next even though I said I was going to hold off until v2 comes out.
>>46078847I suggest friendship grinding the next time you get an encounter with a friendship evolution. All you do is just run around in circles for 30-40 minutes then level the Pokemon once. Budew would have been a lot more useful as a Roselia, and maybe could have tanked the Revenge from the Machop. For Fantina, you can bring a Normal type and pivot back and forth between that and whatever you have that has a super effective move. You'll basically never take damage that way.
