I can’t tell you the amount of Quick Claws, Focus Bands and Brightpowders that have cost me a run, or the amount of Pokemon that oh so conveniently run Double Team and Rest, or the endless crits, paralysis, 4 turns of sleep, etc. Don’t get me started on the nightmare fuel of Sheer Cold, Horn Drill, Fissure out of fucking nowhere, usually on the battle right before the Frontier Brain.
What’s confusing is that Game Freak made the Battle Frontier a completely unappealing task, but then scratches their heads wondering why zoomies aren’t interested. Can’t exactly say I blame the zoomies.
