but I never thought I'd see people unironically getting secret club/ "oldfag" status seeking about a general that started in fucking 2013. people were using "neo-derp" in 2014 and it's only gotten worse. they just wanted so badly to get in on the "early days" of anything at all. they just happened to pick the shittiest one.
and when they realized that there was nothing of substance to be found in the threads, they migrated to the room, where they could have names (because they were too new to know what tripcodes are) and have a more instant "connection" to these people they arbitrarily formed a "community" with.
meanwhile there's a good group of people with accounts older than showderp itself who check in once in a while and aren't fucking divas about it, and just want to watch pokemon battles.
