Okay, so, I've been brainstorming about my story, and came up with a lot of scene ideas for my story. Dealing with Alternate universe shenanigans. Like, at the end, HoopaMan (Really need to come up with a better name for him) is captured in prison, and a lot of characters have private conversations with him. Specifically, Zinnia, Steven and HoopaMan's AU self.
With Zinnia, it'd be a conversation about their past, because they were at one point friends, and he basically just stabbed her in the back . This would probably be the first moment between the two after his identity has been shown. It also might have another aspect to it, depending on whether or not I actually go with the idea of the Original Aster being Zinnia's daughter (Which I know is technically not canon, but it's also what most people got from the game's text). Because if I go with that angle, I might go with the idea of HM being Aster's father.
For Steven it'd be different. Steven's very much an "Ask questions first" kind of guy, and would want to see HM be apprehended and arrested for most of the story. But by this point, he's seen his attempts to brutally murder Zinnia, and at one point thinks he outright killed her, near the kinda middle-endish part of the story. He's grown close to Zinnia at this point in the story, so in a fit of rage, he basically attacks him and tries to beat him to a bloody pulp. The fight's broken up, but as the story goes on, Steven doubts himself, asking himself if the fight had went on longer, could he have held back and brought him to justice legally, or would he have gone too far and ended him himself?
As for HM's AU self, this is the one where I can't really say a lot on the details on it, because even though HM is a canon character, his identity is a spoiler. Iit'd delve into the idea of what someone who wanted to do something else entirely, someone who knew what they wanted at one point, had the chance to do it and see what they would have become.
