Well, my route 35 and 36 encounters were a drowzee and a hoot hoot. I had a strat to lead the drowzee against clefairy with taunt to avoid the errant dragon rage/hyper beams from metronome. And then get at least 1 hypnosis attempt against the miltank to burn the lum berry, before saccing it to switch in the poliwag to put the cow to sleep with 2 hypnosis attempts. But I'm not confident in that one, because this drowzee is so bad. It's got a -def nature and less than 4 def ivs. It's almost a bad joke how frail this thing is on the defensive side.
Just a reminder that nidorans are 60% encounters in both routes and they would have been so much more useful with double kick. I'm going to attempt the bug catching contest tomorrow. If I can catch a weedle/scyther/pinsir, I can try to make a substitute swords dance set work.
