The Wild Area should be where the bulk of NatDex Pokémon would roam after you get your National Dex upgrade from Prof.Oak. The whole "Battling is a professional sport" thing lends itself perfectly to do the PWT again. It would be well within Leon's character to host a massive tournament, inviting champs/E4/Gym Leaders of other regions..
