>>31825645Until Liquid Voice comes out I decided to wait before using a Choice Specs set in VGC. It can probably work, but hitting your partner with Sparkling Aria kinda sucks.
The set I'm currently using is doing surprisingly well for me, that being:
252 Hp/ 52 Def/ 204 SpA
Item: Sitrus Berry
- Scald
- Moonblast
- Perish Song
- Protect
It basically one-shots offensive Arcanine and Marowak with Scald, while also punishing switch-ins with the burn chance. Moonblast deals decent damage in general and Perish Song is like the best move in the game, it shuts down Eevee teams and ensure you win when you pull it off in a 3vs2 if you have Protect on your 'mons. Encore could be great as well. An Intimidate user like Arcanine works well with Primarina, as it covers her low physical defense. You could also run even less SpA and use Hydro Pump + Ice Beam (for Garchomp), but I haven't tried that yet. I'll try a Choice Specs set later on showdown and see how it goes.
