Not sure if any one is still around as the thread looks kinda dead but....
I've been working on the EXP earn.
I haven't got very far but I've build the base stat for each mon and wanted to share. To talk you through my thinking a little. I've been using this (
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_effort_value_yield) to get a solid ground for exp yield amounts. Using that I've then been fleshing out the stat numbers. As you can see I have built some pretty simple (but I think solid) assumptions on exp amounts for each evolution chain number.
I'm also working off this formula for exp amount, which is pretty accurate:
Enemy Experience Stat * Enemy Level Stat * Enemy Tame Stat (1 for random, 1.5 for trained mon) / 7 = Exp Earned
The numbers in the sheet are pretty random (but not too random; there are many pokemon we can directly compare to older gens (starters / legendaries / fossils etc etc). But would like feed back on which you think are the high exp yielders (I currently have Nurshary), rares, commons etc.
It's also worth noting that I'm very aware that:
- Some poks wont be seen until later in the game so might warrant higher values (or visa versa).
- There is also location variables.
- Trainer quantity across whole game.
- Individual pokemon growth rates.
- EXP at lvl 100 for each mon.
- There is also badge 8 target exit level.
- EVs.
I'll start building the sheets for calculating these next.
This is just a first attempt for a base to work from. The spread sheet is comment able, but not editable.
