Hello all and welcome to Showderp. I am Professor Roxanne, and I will be lecturing you today about Showderp and all the laws and customs pertaining to it.
First of all, we have Champ who by ancient rites is given six Pokemon by the community. These Pokemon will:
-be accepted accepted no matter how competitively poor they appear to be
-be the first six Pokemon the community places forward after a Champ takes their position
-have no assumptions by the Champ in deciding what is in the set defined for the Pokemon, unless allowed by the Community.
These six Pokemon will be assembled into a team, and immediately be put to the test in a competitive environment known as Pokemon Showdown, usually starting in the OverUsed tier. The tier can be changed by the Champ.
After at least two battles, the Champ may then call for a new team, where then six new Pokemon will be supplied by the community, or the Champ may call for a new Champ but only if he has battled with two dissimilar teams. From there, the cycle continues as somebody claims the title of Champ.
Finally, we reach the rules of Impeachment. A Champ may be supplanted if he does the following:
-Ignores one of the first six Pokemon supplied in favor of another one.
-Ignores the details of the set for one or more Pokemon in favor for a different set.
-Becomes inactive for no less than 15 minutes.
-Deliberately loses battles.
-Prematurely leaves battles.
-Calls for a new team after either not battling at all with the first team supplied or battling exactly one time with the supplied team.
The idea of Impeachment is quite radical, and though some support it, many do not. It is important to note that the charisma of the Champ, willingness of the community, and the strength of the argument against the Champ are all factors in whether or not the impeachment goes through.
