Once again Goh has gotten nearly a 50/50 split and probably currently in the lead with the episodes centered around him which is highly unheard of for other characters in the series. Galar/Gen 8 itself is an anomaly as they shoved its entire game story arc into 3 episodes, ignored most of the Gym Leaders, the cities and the region as a whole barring Leon and Bea. Journeys is not a conventional take by any means.

The focus was still entirely on Alola and they really tried to follow SM/USUM's story as best they could without shoving it all into a mini-marathon before fucking off to past regions like Kanto, Sinnoh and Kalos. SwSh as a game isn't as unconventional with the Gym structure and that's all being ignored alongside the region. Like
