>>27890513Having the attack tell you whether it will be super effective on the attack list does kinda ruin the part of the experience where you're trying to figure out the typing on a new pokemon you have not met before. It's not a big deal, but throwing an bulldoze at a fire-y looking pokemon that just used ember to see a "not very effective" message and wondering "what the fuck is it's type then?" is pretty cool and a lot of people will never experience it in new games.
