>>50375706I fucking love the atmosphere of Route 34, but I can't really describe why. It feels like the river bank behind my old childhood house which led all the way to the city centre if you followed it one way, exactly like how it leads to the main city in Johto. Lots of kids playing around, a path leading straight through it, surrounded by damp, uncut grass. As you make your way through the road you slowly start seeing signs of the city until it hits you like a truck. I just really love the feel of this route. The closest approximation of it is this image.
Arriving at Goldenrod is literally the peak of my Johto playthroughs.
