>>21151035I don't hate Sugimori or think he's killing pokemon, but sometimes i do wonder what the hell is going on through his head. When he isn't making some of the GOAT pokemon, he's making some of the absolute worst. He constantly has artist's block and has to ask for help to design nowadays. I think he just lost his spark.
Hawlucha is ok, but i'm beggining to think he just doesn't have it in him to do something like Gengar anymore. Nearly all of my favorite designs in the past 4 gens have been non-sugimori. Feels bad, man.
