What I define as a good Mega is one that is as good or better than the design of the original. Those three are
>Charizard XThis Mega doesn't deviate far from Charizard's base design like Y. Just a pallet swap and more jagged features for its transition to Dragon-type. Plus the mouth exhaust flames are fucking fantastic.
>M-AbomasnowJust a slightly better looking Abomasnow. It now looks like a menacing mountain monster rather than a silly mountain monster. Four legs suits it better too.
>M-GalladeJust Gallade: Zorro Edition. inb4 Yu-Gi-Oh! which in my opinion makes it even cooler.
>*Primal Groudon/KyogreNot technically Megas, but these new forms are fucking fantastic. Each of them are already such great Pokemon to begin with, and the Primals are just sleeker versions with a more rad color scheme.
And I'll give an honorable mention to M-Alakazam who is cool, but not as cool as base form Alakazam.
That's not to say there aren't a few decent looking Megas out there although most of them are definitely shit.
