He needs level 9 to become a character, meaning he needs to hog exp away from your team that could've reached their power spikes sooner. Mewtwo/Zacian will often be a stack with support/tanks, or have randos willing to support because they're so strong at level 1. Encountering that on the enemy team is rough for everyone else but especially on Ttar. That said, it's fun once it gets going, try it out in standards to get a feel for it before you jump into ranked.
