Some reveals will be ruined, but I doubt it will prevent them from materialising.
As for the piracy argument, I don't know about that.
The PC builds won't be what they're cracked up to be unless they match retail and don't have major crashing/stability/performance issues, and you can't just go on social media and chat up about them like you can the actual retail versions, nor can you use them for online or local wireless play.
That's fine if you just want single player in seclusion, anyway.
