Another easy gym battle, but Valerie is still better than Clemont since she actually made me switch out of crit paranoia.
>Firestar leads and oneshots Mawile with Flamethrower>Mr. Mime survives and Light Screens, Headbutt crit takes it out>Sylveon Swifts as Firestar Noble Roar's twice before switching into Amadeus, who scores the Flamethrower KO for the winNow, for headcanon story reasons, i've decided to add a complication to the mix: Shelly has run off out of rage (she's been boxed for a bit). Am i going to regret boxing one of my tanks on a team mostly comprised of speedy special attackers? More than likely.
>>53798363This image gives me serious Pokémon but with animals instead vibes and i love it.
>>53799937You know, even with losing recruits so quickly, this run feels more balanced than Platinum in the deaths to badges ratio. On thr topic of edgy writing, i breifly considered making Shelly an eco terrorist (a reference to her namesake), but i thought it was jumping the shark, so to speak.
>>53802330My first was Omega Ruby, and i remember it decently well. The most harrowing moments i remember were losing Linoon to Norman's final Slaking (an act which has defined the entire story arc of my Nuzlockes), Mightyena to a Swimmer's Surskit's Silver Wind, and Rayquaza one shotting half my team before getting KO'd (and the WTF moment where it revived and i rralized i needed to catch it).
>>53802411Funny, i'm the opposite. I've played through Johto and Sinnoh so many times because i was unwilling to erase the teams i had from White onwards. Getting Bank beforr the EShop shutdown really opened up my options going forward.
