Each game has more and more cut corners and less content to make up for it, the padding out mostly by constant unskippable cutscenes/dialogue and fetch quests to hide the lack of it, and the region designs have gotten either hilariously narrow or empty with no inbetween, not to mention how easily you can tell they are rushing the games by either selling you overpriced missing content or just being left clearly unfinished and unpolished
Even narrative wise they are mostly hit or miss
