Dear fuck it might be because I'm tired as hell but the framerate in Reborn is fucking ass, even worse than I remember. It was ultra smooth when I left the station at the beginning but after getting your fist mon the framerate shoots down. I think they use a whole separate map at the beginning of the game instead of using event flags to have NPCs block your path. This makes them about as competent as Game Freak in terms of programming.
