I've actually been revisiting the DS era and I'm having a blast. Took advantage of wiimfi for all of the lost events too, to get the complete experience. I feel like a kid again, discovering all of the bonus event episodes that I missed, boss battles that I never fought, or coming back to other things like the Battle Frontier or Underground. It's the happiest I've been with the series in a while. Especially HGSS. Johto is so free to run around in, and talking to your Pokemon is really charming.
I'm gonna move my 'mons over to BW2, and probably just stick around there. Game Freak just hasn't been the same since they moved to 3D.
