I do feel bad bc like you said, there's way worse in this series, but also dragon specialists are kind of known for being eccentric and her clothes aren't far from the average. Add to that SV dragon tamers ALL wear the skin tight outfit, and the mockery just seems absurd unless people are doing it specifically to pick on Clair
