So, I've been looking at this little shit and he seems like an interesting fellow with big strengths but also key flaws.
The weirdest part is how he starts out mainly as a special atracker with Focus Blast as it's 3 bar move and Low Sweep as its secondary attack. Focus Blast only has 70 accuracy, but his personal sharply raises his accuracy changing Focus Blast to 90% accuracy after one use and full accuracy after both uses. He also only has Dire Hit which may seem like a problem but it's actually not that much.
The reason he shines, however, is that when he becomes Mega Gallade not only does Low Sweep becomes Close Combat, but also he gains Fast Track 2 and Zero-In, the latter which permanently raises his critical rate by one stage. Not only that, his Mega Move also raises his crit rate after being used much like Red, So once he goes Mega all he needs is +1 in crit to maximize his critical rate. And after that he's free to terrorize with either Close Combat physically or full accuracy Focus Blast specially. After going Mega I think he has the highest physical Atk in the game at 411, and his Sp. Atk. lands him at 367 which is around the same level as Brendan.
His Grid offers various utility Even at lower levels. At 1/5 he gains Close Combat MGR, Focus Blast MGR and Natural Cure which is very neat.
At 2/5 he earns Ramming Speed and Cakewalk, which boosts his move's power based on how high or low his speed is raised or the target's is lowered respectively, Grand Entry which is an entry buff for Sp. Atk, and the MPR 3 of his trainer move. He also gains a +10 accuracy core for Focus Blast, which means he only needs to use his trainer move once to get full accuracy.
At 3/5 he gains Fierce Entry which is a buff for physical attacks, Endurance that goes well with Post Haste, and two cores of Critical Strike 1 in opposite ends of the grid. The ways you can build him is solid at 1/5 and can be very diverse by 3/5.
