with shading like this is more clear it's a side-swept, because right now it looks like a hat
or if it was supposed to be just short hair you should try rising it away from the eyebrows, whatever hairline and forehead side you think he has it's up to you this is just a example.
Also eye suggestion to make him more Archie-like. This child is probably too young for visible tear duct shade ("rage shadow") but it's Archie so I don't know.
