>>51065943Something about the human models are just disgusting and off-putting. They look like they're from a Chinese bootlegged game. The eyes and facial features are all fucked up. There has been a clear style in all the past gens from since at least Gen 5 but all of that has seemingly been undone for something that more resembles Pokémon Go or New Pokémon Snap. Why is that? Is it because James Turner left and isn't the art directo anymore? It's really bad. The 2 kids and Professor Sada and Turo look really bad. Ramona looks OK I guess but that could just be coomer art bias. The leaked gym leaders look alright so I don't know why everyone else looks so shit, but maybe they'll look worse in non-blurry footage. All of this just makes me think they're trying too hard for a paradigm shift where normalfags are even MORE catered to. Harmless, bland designs that are inviting.
